Two weeks have passed since Activision Blizzard (ATVI) launched Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. As of yet, as Tae Kim pointed out on Yahoo Finance, there is so far no press release on sales from the company. The silence is ominous. This season's marquee offering for the shoot-em-up crowd featured a three-year development cycle and an elevated degree of commitment--read money--invested by the company to create something extremely attractive and genre-leading.
